AOBA EXTENSION PROGRAMS

Aoba-Japan International School offers a range of extracurricular programs that enrich student life beyond the classroom. The Summer School Program provides inquiry-based learning with a strong focus on music and includes an AI project course for older students led by alumni from top global universities. The After School Program offers activities such as academic support, language learning, performing and creative arts, and sports to build leadership and collaboration skills. During the Mid-Winter Break, the Winter Sports Camp allows students to enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and cultural exploration in Japan’s snow country with English-speaking instructors.

This program is designed to make after-school fun and fulfilling, and includes numerous innovations, including sports.

How ASP works

Our After School Program (ASP) at Aoba provides a series of engaging activities every weekday after school between 15:45 and 17:15 that:

  • Continues to help our young people learn through thought and action.
  • Continues to help develop communication in English and collaboration with others.
  • Develop leadership, creativity, empathy, and fair play.
